Nightwatcher Duties & Responsibilities:

• Check-in with Nightwatch Executive
• Monitor on-air signage
• Compare on-air signage with the mockups and art rotation for that game
• Communicate when there are issues between on-air signage and the expected result
• Read and respond to messages in the Night Watch Ops chat throughout the shift
• Share screenshot or video examples of issues as much as possible and where it makes sense
• Rate the on-air quality of the games and summarize issues in Smartsheet, if any

To ensure games are watched at all times, let the Exec on duty know if you need to leave your station or are unable to watch for a period of time. The Exec will monitor the games until you come back.

Note for individuals who are Nightwatchers & Operators:

Operators who also Nightwatch should mute/ignore the Nightwatch Ops chat while operating games to ensure fewer distractions. If needed, the Exec will reach out with feedback about the game.

Checking In:

Please check in with the Exec 30 minutes before your first games begin and let them know if you’re able to begin setting games, or have any issues you need fixed first (such as missing rotations, being unable to access the multiviewer, etc)

Games will be assigned to watchers by an exec or supervisor, as well as the multiviewer you will watch on and the media sources used to watch the game. All rotations for the night’s games will be compiled together on a document you can access via the Nightwatch Linktree (https://linktr.ee/bbnightwatch)

Notify the on duty exec or supervisor immediately if you are unable to have all of your games set by the start time.

Monitoring Signage:

To monitor the art we are taking to air you need to know which games to monitor, what the art going to air is, and be able to view the match.
